Why take this course?
If you are interested in the triangular cooperation modalityand especially if you, as I did, wish to submit a proposal to a bidding process from the Regional Fund for Triangular Cooperation with partners from Latin America and the Caribbean, this course is for you!
A pioneering initiative, the Regional Fund aims to strengthen TrC in the Latin American and Caribbean region for national and global development. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), since 2011, the Regional Fund has supported various projects in the region through its biannual proposal bidding process. This course will help you formulate a quality projectand be on this list, so let's go ahead!
What will you achieve?
My team and I will lead you through three learning modules so that you can delve into each stage of project formulation: 1. Identification, 2. Negotiation and 3. Design.
The first module will help you address an initial question: what do we want to achieve? In the second module, we will answer the question: with whom? Finally, the third module will take up the first two questions and focus on developing the third question: how?
As you progress through the course, we will provide you with various useful resources for formulating TrC projects, such as guides, maps and questionnaires, among others, all of which you can download and save for later work and reflection.
Key tools will be identified with this icon:
How to learn?
Although the course lasts a total of approximately two hours, the platform allows you to progress at your own pace. You will be able to log in and out whenever you want, without having to enter personal data. We suggest you follow the proposed sequence in the given order. Each time you return to the course, you will be able to return to the screen you left from the menu in the upper right corner.
To learn, you will go through content in various multimedia formats (videos, graphic diagrams, interactive infographics, sections to find out more, references to the form, guides) and carry out activities and work with specific tools.
How to complement this course?
If you want to learn more about triangular cooperation (TrC), you can access the introductory self-study course Mutual Learning, which also has library for further research.
In addition, the Regional Fund offers self-learning project management courses and biannual training meetings for core project teams supported by the Regional Fund, a ‘Help Desk’ for targeted interventions during project implementation, virtual mentoring, webinars, conferences, and much more.
